Design Engineer Assistant

Polokwane, Limpopo Design & Engineering
Full-time Office-Based

We're looking to appoint a Design Engineer Assistant to join our design team in Polokwane as soon as possible. This is a fully office-based position — the successful candidate will be required to work from our Polokwane office daily, not remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Design Engineer on a daily basis with design-related work across active projects.
  • Support the preparation, checking, and revision of civil design drawings and calculations.
  • Work closely with the design team to help ensure designs are accurate and delivered on time.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Sc Civil Engineering (Roads) or B.Tech Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in design work.
  • Working knowledge of Civil Designer, Prokon, and AutoCAD is essential.

Qualities We're Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical design work.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Reliable and punctual — able to be at our Polokwane office every working day.
  • Able to work well under supervision and meet project deadlines.
  • Clear communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a design engineering environment.
Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience.
